IELTS for UKVI, IELTS Life Skills are managed by the IELTS SELT Consortium, which is comprised of The British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English.

・ The test start time will vary depending on the examinee. In addition, the time for each examinee is specified by the test centre and can not be changed.
What to bring on the test day
※There are many instances of candidates forgetting to bring a coloured copy of their registered passport. Please make sure to bring a coloured copy of the pertinent passport page.
Make a coloured copy of your passport (real-sized, double spread with your headshot photo on A4-sized paper) and add your test date and full name on the right side as shown below.
※A valid passport as well as a coloured copy of the passport on A4-sized paper is necessary for registering. Please refer to the example above on how to make a copy of your passport.
※Watches and clocks of any kind, including wristwatches, are not permitted. Please refer to the clock in the test room.
※Pencil sharpeners and tissue paper are provided in the test room.
An official Test Report Form will be sent out 13 days after the test date for IELTS for UKVI, and next Wednesday after the test date for IELTS Life Skills. If the above days are national holidays, test results will be sent the following business day.
The cost for sending Additional Test Report Forms up to five organizations, within one month after the results release date (13 days after the test date) is as follows.:

The cost for sending Additional Test Report Forms to more than five organizations or any requests more than one month of issuing the original Test Report Form is as follows.:
If you do not wish to have your Test Report Form sent through registered email, it will be sent through regular mail or electronically.
Note that the test center can not be held responsible for confirming that the Test Report Form has been received by the organization when sent through regular mail or electronically.
※Test results are valid for 2 years. Request for Additional Test Report Forms right before the expiration date may not be possible due to processing requirements. Please contact the following test centres for more information.

Candidates can apply for an Enquiry On Results (remarking) if they feel that the test results are incorrect. Candidates can choose to have one or more parts of their test re-marked.
Fees for EOR are as below.
An administrative fee of 15,000 JPY which should be prepaid, will be charged for this service, but should the result(s) change after the Enquiry on Results, the full amount will be refunded only if the applicant for remarking designates a bank account in Japan as the account to which such refund should be made. Please note that it takes about 3 weeks (or more) for re-marking.

EOR application form(candidates should download the form from the reply sent by the test center)
Note that all necessary documents as well as payment must arrive at the designated test center within 39 days of the Written test date. If the deadline falls on a weekend or a national holiday, the request is due on the last business day before the weekend or national holiday.Please make sure to apply with plenty of time to spare.
Also note that bank handling fees are the responsibility of the candidate. The original test results will be invalid and requests for additional Test Report Forms can not be submitted during the EOR process.
※EOR requests can not be cancelled once the process has started.
We can only accept EOR requests from candidates who have taken the IELTS session with IELTS Official Test Centers (JP500 or JP512) of the Eiken Foundation of Japan.
Changes and Cancellation
You may request to change the test date, test venue, and/or module up till 23:59, 10 days before the test date, once, free of charge. Please note that the requested changes are strictly subject to availability. Any changes after the initial change will be subject to a handling charge per change.
Cancellation
Request for cancellations as well as refunds after the deadline are not accepted. However, in the following special cases, a refund may be permitted by submitting the necessary certification and application forms.
・Serious illness (Common cold and/or stomachaches do not qualify)
・In the event that a relative within the third degree of kinship has passed away
※Please be sure to submit original documents, such as a medical certificate from the hospital and/or a funeral notification, within 5 days from the date of the test.15days or more before the test date
If you cancel your application more than 15 days before the test date, 75% of the test fee will be refunded.
IELTS for UKVI : 22,050 JPY (tax inclusive)
IELTS Life Skills : 15,375 JPY (tax inclusive)
Within 3 to 14 days before the test date
If you cancel your application for the IELTS exam within 3 to 14 days before the exam date, 50% of the test fee will be refunded.
IELTS for UKVI : 14,700 JPY (tax inclusive))
IELTS Life Skills : 10,250 JPY (tax inclusive)
Within 2 days of the test date
If you cancel your application for the IELTS exam within 2 days before the exam date, 25% of the test fee will be refunded.
IELTS for UKVI : 7,350 JPY (tax inclusive)
IELTS Life Skills : 5,125円 JPY (tax inclusive)

Additionalnotes:
If you are absent on the test day, a refund will not be given. The Eiken Foundation of Japan reserves the right to reject applications for refunds or schedule changes. Refunds will be made through the credit card account used to pay the exam fee.

The IELTS test for UK visa purposes is designed to meet certain administrative requirements that are only specified by UK Visas and Immigration. Test Report Forms will be slightly different, to show that test takers have taken the test at an IELTS UK visa session. The actual test taken is the same – same content, examiners, format, level of difficulty, scoring and so on.
There are no restrictions on retaking IELTS. You can register for a test as soon as you feel you are ready to do so.
If you pass IELTS Life Skills, you cannot retake it for a period of two years.
If you do not pass it, there are no restrictions on retaking the test.
