One Skill Retake

• One Skill Retake allows you to re-take one section of the test (Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking)
• Which one section to re-take is at the test takers discretion
• You must register and complete One skill Retake within 60 days of your original test date.

Notes

・The expiry date of your passport registered for the original test must be valid until the date of the One Skill Retake test date.
・If all time slots are full within your application periods, you may not be able to apply for One Skill Retake.

18,000 jpy（tax included）

You can choose the venue from Tokyo test centre or Osaka test centre which is administered by Eiken for One Skill Retake.

Choose a test date from Test Taker Portal

Once registered, you can not change the test date by yourself.
Please contact the Test Centre to request transfer of test date.

From the 「Result」 tab on your Test Taker Portal click on 「See my options」 and 「Retake a part of your test」 to initiate the registration process.

• Cancellation deadline is 11:59 pm. 5 days prior to your One Skill Retake test date
• You can cancel your registration from the Test Taker Portal.
• Cancellation fee of 6,300 jpy will be deducted
• Even if you cancel your registration, you can reapply within 60 days from the original exam date.

• Test result will be available within 3 – 5 days of your test date at the Test Taker Portal.
• Test Report Form(TRF) will be made available as an eTRF, downloaded from the Test Taker Portal
  Paper based TRF will not be issued
• 2 versions of TRFs will be available for you, the original sand the updated version after OSR. Both TRFs will be considered valid.

• Your original score will remain valid even after taking OSR. It will be up to you whether to use the OSR score or the original score, depending on the outcome.
• Combining Enquiry On Result（EOR）and One Skill Retake (OSR)
  
  Valid Scenario
  ・EOR for the original test　⇒　One Skill Retake
  ・ One Skill Retake　⇒　 EOR on the skill retaken using OSR
  
  Invalid Scenario
  One Skill Retake　⇒　 EOR for any of the skills you have not sat the OSR with or EOR on the original test
• Test takers who are absent on the day will not be eligible for refund nor transfer of test date.
