IELTS on Computer(IoC) test results will be available online within 3 - 5 days from the test date. Paper based Test Report Form (TRF) will be sent out via mail following the test result upload.

IELTS results will not be disclosed over the phone, via email or fax for security reason.

Fees for Issuing Additional Test Report Form

Request submitted 37 days after the test day AND for the first five additional TRF(s)：

• To be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer – Free
• To be sent by EMS registered post upon your request – 1,600 yen per copy

Request submitted after 38 days of the test day OR for six TRF copies or more：

• To be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer – 1,100 yen per copy
• To be sent by EMS registered post upon your request – 2,700 yen per copy

※Unless you specify that you would like to send TRF(s) by EMS, they will be sent by ordinary post or electronic transfer. Please be aware that in that case, you will not be able to track the delivery status.

※IELTS scores have a two-year validity period. If your request comes at short notice before the score expires, we regret that we may not be able to process it.

Fees for Enquiry On Results(EOR)

Candidates can apply for an EOR if they have doubts regarding the test result. The request must be made within 6 weeks of the test date. Candidates can choose to have one or more parts of their test re-marked. Fees for EOR are as below. A full refund will be made if your result is changed to a higher band score. Please note that it can take up to 3 weeks (or more) for re-marking. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact your test centre.

• IELTS on Computer(IoC)
  Academic/General Training: 15,000 yen

Cancellation  Fee‍
Cancellations may be made 5 days prior to the LRW test date until 23:59. In this case,  you shall receive a refund minus administration fees.

•IELTS on Computer(IoC) Academic/General Training： 6,300 yen

After the cancellation deadline (less than 5 days) before the scheduled LRW Test date – candidates will not be eligible for a refund. However, refunds may be given in special cases, upon submission of proof and application,  such as the following.

・serious medical conditions which prevent you from attending or performing normally on test day; (not including include minor illnesss such as a mild cold or stomach ache)
・recent family bereavement, up to the third degree of kinship.

※Please submit an original official medical certificate or official proof that a funeral has been conducted to the test centre by 5 business days after the test date to qualify.

Please note:Refunds will only be processed upon provision of an official application form. Candidates who are absent on the test day will lose their full test fee. The Eiken Foundation of Japan reserves its rights to decline refund or transfer requests. The refund will be paid to the same credit card account which was used to pay the test fee.

The Eiken Foundation of Japan works in cooperation with certification/examination boards and educational institutions to ensure that people with disabilities are able to take the exam in an appropriate environment. In order to ensure a smooth set up of your examination, you are advised to contact Eiken Foundation of Japan at least 3 months before the exam date.
