This is an importance notice regarding passport for candidates aspiring to take the IELTS tests on and after 24 August 2019.

For IELTS tests scheduled on and beyond 24 August 2019,

・You will no longer need to upload your passport image during IELTS test registration.

・Instead, you will be required to bring the same passport you used when you registered for your test and clearly legible coloured copy of double-page spread BIO-data page of your passport on the day of the written test.

【Requirements for a coloured copy of your passport】

1. Please take a Real-size Coloured copy following these steps; ①specify A4 size-paper placed in landscape orientation, ②choose Coloured copy mode, ③ put double-page spread BIO-data page of your passport on copy machine.
2. After taking a coloured copy, please write ① your test date (year/month/date), ②candidate number(6digits), ③Full name (same description with the passport which you registered for the test) in the blank area of copied page.

Please be reminded that this change will be in effect from tests scheduled on and beyond 24 August 2019.

You will still need to upload your passport image during registration for any tests scheduled up until 17 August 2019.
