The Eiken Foundation of Japan ("Eiken"), Cambridge ESOL, a language teaching institution of the University of Cambridge, England, and the British Council, UK’s public international exchange organization are diligently working for protection and proper management of personal information as organizations that handle such information. Personal information which you input to use the service is only used for the purposes specified in the column titled "Purpose of use of personal information" below and we will obtain your approval in advance if it becomes necessary to use your personal information for any other purpose. In addition, there may be a case where your personal information is used for similar purposes after you have terminated the use of the service. In order to secure the accuracy of your personal information, your personal information registered with Eiken, Cambridge ESOL, and the British Council may be renewed.

The handling of personal information may be entrusted to a third party within the scope necessary for achieving a purpose of use. In entrusting the handling of personal information, we will select and supervise a business operator that properly manage personal information in compliance with Eiken’s standards, and conclude a non-disclosure agreement to secure the required safety of personal information.
Upon request of yourself, we will notify you of a purpose of use, or disclose, correct, add or delete, use, or eliminate your personal information held by Eiken, or stop disclosing it to a third party ("Disclosure").

You provide your personal information to Eiken on a voluntary basis. However, if you do not provide your personal information for any optional items, it is likely that provision of the service may be interfered with, for example, delivery of notice may be delayed.
We do not acquire your personal information by any method that is not easily recognizable by you, for example by using Cookie or web beacon.
If a minor under 15 years of age uses our products or services, such minor's personal information is obtained on condition that his/her parent or carer approves.
In order to prevent leakage of personal information out of Eiken or falsification thereof, Eiken establishes internal rules and implements safety measures.
